A day out- sunday !!
Y’day got up soon ,but the day did’st start as normal .... something was missing..In the morning it was cloudly and dark, it seems like a typical rainy day it would be .Bit disappointed as we had some plan to go out… thought to wait for few hours and then to take decision... finished of all house hold works…it looked like the hands of the clock is not doing his duty properly..time was moving too slow..sat in front of system surfed..but boring surfing in early morning....killed time somehow until the time peace showed 10’ o clock..It is not new for me to stay alone ..and again getting up soon was also not new..but don’t know why y'day to kill time it looked like a great task…The moment I saw 10 am in time peace I thought to call one of group to confirm the schedule…there were in all 3 groups excluding me who were supposed to meet at pre mentioned station by 2 Pm ..i called one group to confirm the schedule for exertion as my idea was may be due to weather there are chances of the trip to be cancelled..but could hear from other end..”Namma palace ke kottura mazhaila pona aalunga…kodaiye (umbrella) yeduthutta vanga…”I said fine and disconnected the call…then thought to prepare some eatable ..Indian recipe …the head count as per my knowledge was about 10..so need to prepare quite a bulk amout…as the weather was like it will rain..it was bit driznling that time..so thought to have “Onion Bajji”( tamil)..a stuff which we like to eat in rainy day..
Finished of preparation of the "bajji's"…. packed and then got set and started towards spot….Our plan was to go to a place called Inwangsa temple which is located on Mt. Inwangsan , known for its varied rock formations..T
As per plan I reached the spot though not in time but with a lag of 30 min..group-A peoples were already waiting there..yet 2 groups have to come..after waiting for about 30 min group-B also came.. one more group yet to come..we waited till 3.10 am but no trace of them..hence we planed like few people to proceed earlier towards spot remaining to follow up once group-C makkals reach the spot..I forgot to mention the day which looked as if it would rain in morning now it was just contrary.. Sun was high in the heavens…
As per plan few peoples started towards spot..the funda was no body is aware where the location in exact was just a blind guess…enquired peoples on the way and proceeded futher.. the way to inwangsan was between apartment buildings .after walking for about 10 to 15 mins..we came across Iljumun, the first gate of the temple, standing precariously on the steep mountainside. There is some story about this gate, but I don’t know what exact the story was..i came to know about this story funda as while having conversation with my colleague they said something..but i did;nt listened properly..After entering the first gate.. we found that it does not have a temple-like atmosphere but rather the feel of a mountainside old village…myself together with others were proceeding towards the spot..in between photo session was going..anga anga click..at this point I would like to thank technology so as to explore digi camera’s with which we can capture now n there what ever we feel ..ofcourse economically too…We just walked a short distance ..soon the second team joined us …Proceeded further with usual chit chat..”landhu nakkal “…The atmosphere was too calm… felt somewhat good as the environment was too peaceful.. we were heading further could find some rock on the top..the rock was named as Seonbawi rock, believed to grant wishes.. I came know about this fact only while we were on our way back to home..Previously while going ahead towards top
I could see some ladies n children were doing some sort of pray ..so do I too did.. time gap la wished there ..”vittarvoma enna…”let me see if my wish come true…as wish should not be revealed till it comes true so let me wait till my wish coems true..;) ;)
Futher we walked for about 1 hr ..all were bit tired ..stopped at a place .. thought to have the stuffs which i prepared n got it..i was not aware of other item which was hiding inside the bag.. it was “small kara murukku”( tamil)..the place where we stopped was just behind the rock of wishes i.e "Seonbawi rock".. could find lots n lots of pegions ..shared the stuffs with that too ..had a photo session there ..after finsiing of things got proceeded futher could find in trees some ribbon sort tied ..my guess was it might be same as that of our Indian tradition ..some sort of wish ..told to my friend reg that....later heard from my colleague i.e today during discussion that Even to this day, peoples visit the rock to make wishes. As many childless women in particular visit the rock, Seonbawi rock is also called 'Gijaam', meaning 'rock where one wishes for a child' and other wishes too…
We were heading further when we saw wrist watch it was 6pm so plan to return back...”Pichae mud”’( turn back) started towards subway..the enthu which we had while climing up was lost while coming down..after that done some shopping ..during shopping could find a wine shop..it was looking great with all light effects..captured that too in digi…as in my digi battery was exhausted asked murugan to do.. followed by which had dinner…again treat ..thanks to yuva and vijay who were kind enough to offer us treat..finished off dinner and started towards home…back home... again in routine something missing.. ……….after about 6 years I chatted with my class mate..had nice time with her..finished fo chatting midnight 1 and gone to bed.. again today .. week started….planning for a rafting soon..here is some of snaps taken that day…
I generaly follow eat first rest next..so here goes bajji !!
