payaj ke aansu ...( tear of onion)...
Generaly when we chop onion we get tear..but now onions are developed one step ahead ..(it has seen complain add nenakirain "Nan valargirain mummyyy..."..)without being cut it is giving tears to public...onion the major vegetable whihc is added in all recepies now with the steep increase in prices of onion Householders across India are suddenly finding it prohibitively expensive to buy onions.
As per news Heavy rains in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat destroyed large parts of the crop in these states which are considered to be major onion producing states....
The prices of onions in Maharashtra have reached the highest in eight years and are likely to increase further in the next fortnight sources said...
Two factors are responsible for the shortage. First, many farmers have switched from onion cultivation because of the low prices the crop has been fetching for the past few years. Then, the shortage spiralled as the crop was damaged by unseasonal rains

For the moment, onions are more expensive than most fruits, a fact that makes many consumers furious.
"Right now onions are more expensive than apples and prices threaten to rise after Diwali," one customer said.
"We cannot afford such prices. We will just have to stop eating onions," said another.
As Diwali & Ramadan approaches, there are also fears that traders might be hoarding onions, creating a new problem for the government.
Just a few years ago, during the 1998 assembly elections, rising onion prices led to the rout of the BJP and signalled the political rebirth of the Congress Party.
The humble onion made itself known then as a political force to be reckoned with, a lesson that should probably not be forgotten today.
sources also said if the price is increased in rising order this may have effect in coming elections...
So an onion is shaking general public and politicians as well....
Could remember a proverb in tamil..."yaanai ki oru kaalam vandha ..poonai ki oru kaalam varum"..eppo yanai or poonai kalam ella onion kaalam...

Achamillai Achamillai …
It might be a usual day in the lives of everyone else in chennai but for the 2 visually -challenged couples it was a new dawn in their dark lives. The days when two blind people got married and now they were sharing their experience about success in marriage life..
Yes it is telecasted by Achamillai achamillai .!!! A program in jaya tv which hardly I like…A pgm where you can find people Crying.. Complaining, criticizing, with problems ,in trouble ,facing difficulty,protesting ,finding fault with other's ..( some more negative adjective u can add )..problems related to mother,son,daughter,husband,wife,in laws..abba..horrible it is..
I don't understand y they coming and discussing their problems in this program ? are they getting solution for there problem ??It is still Q in my mind ??
Surprisingly the other day I could find interview with two couples who were discussing about their success stories…
One of the couples said that the decision was taken after fully understanding each other. The man said, "I understand her very well. We knew each other for quite a long time as we both work in an orchestra group".
The lady on the other hand expressed full faith in her choice. "My husband is blind but I am sure that he will take care of me for the rest of my life as he is doing so now and we will have a very happy family,"
Again the surprise was they were staying independently one couple have 2 children. 6 years old and some 4 years old..
The lady herself cooks and is well aware of how to operate gas n other stuffs..
Listening to their words it truly inspired me..which cannot be expressed in word….

"Andrum Indrum Yendrum" oru Parvai....
Was Sitting in office n debugging some code ..uuuuuuh !! ..Past two days went too hectic..busy fixing some problems and debugging...atlast was done by today mornign with all sorts of work ..bit free now..just was staring my monitor suddenly view diverted seen tv ....Mayilirage.. song of Ah Aah -Anbe Aaruyire was playing ..audio was in mute mode..In the audio mute state watching video was bit funny.. wished to hear the song..connected head phone to tv and started to listen the song..
wondering how jaya tv at office??
As working with STB hence QC people karunaiyala dish was positioned to Indian satellite Insat2E/2B..so can watch some of Indian channels like jaya,dd series,ETV series,tamilan,podhigam,winTV..n so on...
so ithukaga QC makkalukku oru OOOOOOOOO....
still the song was going..seeing the funny steps of Surya n the herion (dunno know her name )..song finished and S.J.Surya the hero cum director of movie was in process to give interview to jaya tv viewers...nalla kadi..one thing good was appo appo songs pottanga in between his kadi dialogs..
In his dialogs one dialog which i could remember was
"nan tamil movie aah hollywood rangeku kondu poganum nu pakkurain"( some what similar to this meaning it was ...)
big kadi in the interview was... he himself askign Q's n he himself answering for
it..

After seeing that song it makes my memory to travel back to the days when i was working as lecturer...the time when the Kushi movie was released..songs were going super duper hit...athula kattipidi kattipidida... ,oru ponnu onnu na..songs
was going in peak...

->gals eager to dance with boys but we the great staffs not giving permission to them n they were sitting annoyed as no other go...

sirappu nigalchigal" was going in Jaya Tv ... was just watching tv ..got some internal high priority interrupts ..yes call from manager..gone to have disucssion when i was bacck that program was over and now it is time for another program...

Isairaja Ilayaraja the noted music director and three times National Award winner who was introduced during the yead 1976 has done over 840 films , got 3 national award, composed 6 private albums and more than 4000 songs is holding a live-in concert “Andrum Indrum Endrum” on 16th October, at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.
The programme will include film songs and parts of his album Tiruvasagam .
This concert is presented by Jaya TV and is first of its kind live-concert by
the maestro who has been avoiding public appearances.
Jaya TV's vice-president – Marketing – Balaswaminathan said the programme
presents Ilayaraja in a first-of-its-kind live concert in satellite television
history.
Maestro Ilayaraja is bringing together singing talents and experimenting with new sounds and beat with some special sound effects. Some of his all-time hits along with his recent musical experiments like “Thiruvasagam & Symphony” will be played at the concert.
Said Ilayaraja: “The idea is to try something new and exciting. I will be playing a song with three swarangal- the first of its kind and I assure that it will be a great feast .
he also added as a mother prepared food for her children he is preparing the program for a great feast to public...
