Recollect & Refresh !!

Today is 26 November the clock on the table shows its half past 11. Just few minutes to pass for the clock to tick and 27 November to start.Yes a special day.. Daddy’ birthday that’s how my daughter says..
I thought of making use of this valuable time to scribble something .

Yday I was showing some animated cartoons to my daughter when I came across one such video which took me into the world where there was no time for worries, my childhood days.

In this wifi world the internet is like a time machine which makes us to go back into the past and dig out the sweet memories.Hope all are aware of the fact that before the evolution of satellite television Doordharsan was only source entertainment which was broadcasted national wide. I still remember those days when we can find a black and white TV in most houses. Some parents who were over conscious about their kids used to buy a B& W tv along with door and a key.
So a physical key was replacement for parental control in remote those days.

Now with the evolution of satellite television there are so many channel /services/programs with not much importance to any of them.

But those days we used to give so much importance to our favorite programs that we scarified our foods and sleep to watch them and curse DD when some boring stuff was broadcasted which would slice into our favourite shows.

Youtube video I was referring in the beginning “Ek Anek aur Ekta by Films Division 1974”

This video is fantastic one. Those who can understand Hindi will agree to me and those who don’t as well will agree .Since they will love to listen the music.
It is all about giving a positive and powerful message “be united” .
"Aesop " an Ancient Greek fabulist and author has very well said the same as

“United we stand; divided we fall”

To add more about DD from wiki
National programme was introduced in 1982. In the same year, colour TV was introduced in the Indian market with the live telecast of the Independence Day speech by then prime minister Indira Gandhi on 15 August 1982, followed by the 1982 Asian Games being held in Delhi. The 80s was the era of Doordarshan with serials like Hum Log (1984), Buniyaad (1986-87), comedy shows like Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi (1984) and mythological dramas like Ramayan (1987-88) and Mahabharat (1988-89) glued millions to Doordarshan. Other popular programs included Hindi film songs based programs like Chitrahaar and Rangoli and crime thrillers like Karamchand (starring Pankaj Kapoor), Byomkesh Bakshi (starring Rajit kapur) and Janki Jasoos.
