London ..don don thaan…
Waving hands with close up smile Aasim started from Anna international airport,chennai some 7 months ago.Parents and relatives were too proud that Aasim is going to London ,UK.
Aasim is basically an chemical Engineer who has completed his graduation last year from Sathyabam college of Engineering. Hailing from a middle class family he too have commitment towards family.
With billions of dreams and imagination Aasim landed at London Heathrow airport..He was not aware of the hard times waiting for him.. He was selected at campus for a MNC at dubai also in Delhi .Finaly he decided to go for Dubai offer.
On one half Aasim was planning to go to Dubai where as on other side his father was planning to send him to London for his pride.
Aasim was a guy who was brought up in a way that he cannot oppose his fathers thought.. with no other go and empty mind/vision he flew to UK in student visa…
After landing in UK he got a chance to enquire about the fee structure for post graduation which totaly disturbed him. The fees structure which he heard was more compared to his expectation..
Now he has no go other than going for work for survival.
Last month there was job fair held at London .My self and my husband planned to go there so as to get awareness about the companies and their requirement… We met Aasim over there and heard about his pathetic story. His current situation was like neither he can go back to India nor here he can afford to continue his education due to high fee structure.
Since he is in student visa he can neither opt to go for full time work. He was planning to go for delivery work so that he can acquire money to pursue his masters here.Back in India his parents were in wrong thought that their son is living a comfortable life ..
Hoping for better life many Aasim /sita end up in a messed circumstances.
Always think ponder and act… rather than thinking after action…
