In those "kaalam"(days) strike starts from college days...aana eppo la konjam advanced ..so eppolam school la irundhe start agirdhu...

Felt remembering our college life....
I m really missing those happy moments...
when ever I see a college student I start listening to his/her college story which takes me to our college life...

While Anna University's enforcement of a "dress code" has now fostered a whole new, and fiery debate on the right to legislate on students' wardrobe, another moratorium on the use of mobile phones on engineering college campuses seems to have been accepted by the students.

"All over the country, whenever institutions of higher education have tried to impose dress codes upon its girl students, they have always had to backtrack."

THE Anna University is under a curious kind of "morality" siege. Perhaps for the first time in its 20 and odd-year history, the girl students are in a rebellious mode, protesting against what they see as the university's unilateral and "sexist" move in imposing a "dress code".
Widely seen by a large section of the women students as "moral policing" and a "regressive and paternalistic move", Vice-Chancellor D. Viswanathan's September 1 edict — no wearing jeans or T-shirts/sleeveless/tight-fitting/revealing outfits and only salwar kameezes for women — in 231 engineering colleges across the State has now fostered a whole new debate on the propriety (or lack of it) of female attire and whether an institution of higher education has the right to legislate on students' wardrobe. Interestingly, another moratorium on the use of mobile phones inside the campus seems to have come down lightly on the students, most of whom agree that selective restrictions have become essential, given the disturbance caused by the gadgets inside lecture halls.
Faced with a resentment he had not anticipated, the Vice-Chancellor then clarified that there would be no "military-like strictness" in enforcing the code. To pre-empt any charges of gender bias, the VC clarified that even men students would not be allowed to wear T-shirts or jeans, an announcement which was met with ridicule by the women who argued that it was only a tokenistic concession ..

Bhavadharini enters wedlock !!
Playback singer cum music director and daughter of maestro Ilayaraja entered the wedlock with one Ramachandran, a native of Madurai, who runs an advertisement agency in Chennai.
The marriage was held at Kollur Mookambigai temple , which is close to Ilayaraja's heart. Among those who attended the wedding included Tamil Film Producer Council president T G Thiyagarajan.
A grand wedding reception has been arranged in Chennai on 19 September at Mayor Ramanathan Chettiar Hall in Santhome.
It may be recalled that Bhavadharini has sung hundreds of songs and won the National Award for Best Singer for the song Mayil Polae Ponnu in Bharathy. She has composed music for a couple of movies including Mitr-My Friend and Amirtham.
Commentary of a person who attended the funtion :
I went to Kollur Mookambigai temple & also to Bhavatharini's marriage.
It was a great experience I had in my life time. I gifted a book to Raja and another compliment to Bhavatharini. In fact, I have taken gifts for Karthik raja and Yuvan also. I met them but since they were in temple i didnot want to gift them in temple.
I was looking for a fine time to gift them. But i didnot get any good occassion even thought i could have created it. Eventually, I sent those gifts to Karthik raja and Yuvan in their car where Gifts were taken to their house. Hope it would have reached their hands by now.
I reached kollur within the Muhurtham time, but i wanted to see goddess mookambika first, so i went there. At the same time, after sometime, Raja &
marriage couple and his family members, dakshinamoorthy swamigal and all came to the temple. and I was very immense happy to see them in the temple.
I started taking lots of snaps of Raja and others. and then while Raja and marriage couple were rounding the temple Pragaram , I was also going along with them. In
fact, I was very next to Raja while they were rounding the Temple pragaram. It was a good experience all the whole. I was watching Raja's attitude with his
daughter, what he is talking and what he is doing. He was exactly like a child. He was calling a cow along with him while coming from temple to manadapam. It was
nice to see him doing all these things and i was enjoying it silently. For more than one hour I was with him, not talking to him anything, but watching
him whatever he does and enjoying it.
Finally, I went to the Guest house, and took a snap with him and also gave him the gift. He asked me " enna ithu", i said this is a book by Nisargadatta Maharaj- Enlightened Spiriual Guru" and I fell on his feets (saakshath) and got a blessings and then took a snap along with him.
During this, I talked with Uttham Singh also who is a composer(DDLJ-Hindhi, for all chopra's movies), arranger, conductor for Raja( Especially in Nayagan-andhi mazhai megam) and I talked with him without knowing these information whatever I said
about uttham singh here. I came to know about him on saturday only from my master. My master only said uttham singh is a genius in Music, who worked with
R.D. Burman & Naushad and all. and he is the mediator for Raja to connect from South to North. and I got the number of Uttham Singh from Raja's manager and talked
with Uttham Singh also yesterday and I told about ignorance about knowing him. He was a cool person.
This is the all cover story from my experience and I feel i have fulfilled my one of the desire in my life.

Coin has two side !!
Day starting earlier before time and work stretching more than eight hours..
Design ,development,coding ,testing , Bug bug bug oh bug is bugging..
Others then above often meeting schedule ..”aaa wona meeting”..ithu technical meeting nga..date meeting ella ;) ;)..date meeting kuda vachikalam in some cases ;);)
Weekly status meeting,monthly status meeting.,appraisal meeting endha meeting andha meeting..ada enna thaan meeting pottalum nadakura work thaan nadakum…
Athu yedhukku avangalukku puriya matanga…..
No proper time for relax..sitting in front of system from 9 or earlier which is extended whole day till midnight ..no proper sleep ..which will continue in loop..with some conditional compilation… ...
if things going well as per schedule n getting output working would be interesting if not again office will be looking like going to hell..targets deadlines,politics these are also part in software mania..some will be looking for a chance how to kala verify others…n get the appraisal instead…
All this is common in software industry ..as all i too face all these things…the thing which I hate is “ice vaikiradhu /polish talk “…some will pass the life only by keeping ice..
Particularly for salaried workers who working in software we can find scenario as above….but still can njoy life …
Here at my place things were going too good in one angle and too worst in other perspective ..good in the sense was gaining lots knowledge worse in the sense no time for personal life..
Target date was coming close for release and still many things to be complete..just pushing to achieve the target..life was just work work work..other then work which often come into picture would be bug bug bug ..and other routine schedules of lunch ,,dinner etc etc
Bosses are starting meeting at 11.30 am and ending about 2p.m ..no proper food/sleep..attacked by work mania….life is only bug..and it is bugging me ….
In my calendar, I'm blocking 2 hours, from 12:00-1:00, to give me time to eat, exhale, return e-mails/phone calls and talk to staff… …
again working with deadlines also gives kick... challenging work… and the cheerfulness which we get when we are admired for work it would be a different story....worth enough for the struggle....
if you wondering this all happening now .. you r wrong..
Just to make you aware of .. all this happened some 2 months before..now the case is Upside down..killing time in office inspite of work ..back to home sharp 6 or so..
Indha mari time la if you are being invited for lunch to some good restaurant how it would be..yes it would be like eating cherry with no efforts..i was asking analogy of the same in tamil..i asked more then half dozen peoples ..but could'nt get it yet...so here is fil up for u ..it is like ------------------------------- ( fill up)
We had been invited by your lead to have a lunch at Thai restaurant…Food was ok ..not as expected ..in general thai food would be too spicy but the food was not as expected regarding hotness… but still its ok to have a different sort of food at times..
At restaurant just ot pass time till ordered food was served ..was making fun n taking snaps of various arts on the wall seen …atlastsome how finished of the lunch n came back to office with routine work started again...
so as all coin has two side..in this softlife coin it has also two options hectic days and ob days...

A Day with Surprise !!!!
It was yet another day of joyous celebrations of Vinayaka Chathurthi ..A Festival which is celebrated all over
India from south to north. People celebrate this day in a variety of ways. This festival is celebrated in the month of avani on chaturthi (4th) day which comes after the new moon. For anything to go well, we pray Lord Vinayaka. He is the first to be worshipped whenever we start anything. He relieves us from all our difficulties. Lord Vinayaka has got an elephant face and human body. He is worshipped by many names like Vinayaka, Ganesha, Pillayar, Vigneshwara, Gajanana, Ganapathy, Mooshika Vahanaa, Modhaga priya etc He rides on an animal called mooshika( Sanskrit word mean a large kind of rat). In our houses we celebrate this pooja in a grand manner. We decorate the floor with kolams using rice flour. On that day we buy a new Vinayaka idol(made of clay). . We place the idol on banana leaf and decorate with flowers and perform pooja. Vinayaka likes a dish called kozhukkattai. So different varieties of kozhukkattai are prepared and offered to the lord on this day It is the special item on this day. In addition to that Different varieties of fruits are also offered.
On the next day, punar pooja is done. This is the pooja which acts as an ending to the festival. After this we remove the idol from its place. On the next day after punar pooja, we immerse the idol in water in the sea, well or pond. In cities like Mumbai, Chennai etc. large Ganesha idols (a bout 6 ft) are placed in common places and pooja is performed in a very grand manner. In Mumbai we can hear “Ganapathi bappa moriya agale baras thu jaldi aah”
Here for me day begin too early ..it started early in morning about 5.30 followed by which was cleaning work .By the time I finished all my work and saw my system time it was 7..which was again followed by puja though not offered much to vinayagar..All this because I was in wrong thought that the puja is on thurday .It happened that when I asked the great Mr Kiri Arunagiri about the date of Vinayaga chathurthi last week he told it is on Thursday..and I believed him..so on Tuesday i.e y’day after passing usual day in office while returning back I did;nt bother to go for shopping to get fruits..After reaching home came to know from Same Mr kiri that he played with me..It was already night by the time I came to know about the truth reg vinayaga puja is on wed.. so thought to do puja with the fruits resting in my refrigerator. unfortunately “onne onnu kanne kannu na only apples was left”. So offered only apples to Vinayagar..
As per schedule today need to go to office bit early than usual day..but reached office by some time lag of 45 mins..As got early also did some work at home today hence was feeling too hungry at office..due to lack of time I did;nt had BF..ithu breakfast..just started to concentrate in work I heard some one called my name ..just turned my face from monnitor n looked towards the direction I heard the voice..they informed I had some post ..they need my signature to deliver the post to me...got the letter..It was strange for me as I never got any letter via post .just was wondering who might posted this letter..with question in mind I opened the envelope …..the moment I read it got a grin in my face.. A GREAT REAL SURPRISE it was
It was a surprise as the letter was from my friend here..and that ‘s regarding the wishes for vinayaga chathurthi…..The real Surprise is because story behind this letter…Click here ( for flash back)
So I recalled passed incident not only y’day chat conversation with Giri …some few weeks before prakash came n asked about my address saying he need my official address for some business perpose..that time I said sorry I wont give my address in any public forum as my parents will scold me.. that time i was serious...
In another incident during my last week gathering prakash asked my visiting card all of sudden..again it made me surprise y he is asking my visiting card..but I gave him my card…
So here the ball came back to me …the content which I reffered Giri y’day was in letter which I got today and address of mine they got from prakash from my card…abba what a PERFECT LONG TIME PLAN…great..happy to get wishes for the day through post with surprise...
Yet the surprise quota is not finished it again extended…as today I got early n did’nt had my breakfast so in my stomach rats were jumping( translation for Paet mae chuhe dowd rahe tain -hindi). Was just thinking to go to ground floor n get some cookies..before that thought to thank the group who send the surprise wishes via post ..called them in conference( chatting ) and said thanks to them ...i could hear some one again called my name..this time it is for eating..hayya..( a sound in inner heart) ..the moment I went to table n saw water melon first thought that striked in my mind was..Thanks vinayaga.."nejam thaan ithu udans ella..i offered u small apple n in turn u offered me big water melon."...in my past month experience today was the first time we are having fruits in office..usualy we have cookies or nv’s…
Had that watermelon ..my stomach was almost full..some slices were wasted…
Remaining day went as normal…so the day started as busy day n ended as busy day..with some surprises..

Template of Hindi letter for a friend…
Day in office starts for me with my attendance to yahoo and msn…Though it varies where to give attendance first to yahoo or msn..mostly I give to yahoo as there is an option to do work behind the screen ;) ;)..he he I mean invisible option..
Today also it started the same as other day…now n there friends would be visiting in yahoo n msn during early day and end of day.today the first who pinged me was Giri with the msg..”Pls tell me some wording to write a letter to my friend in hindi ..It is very urgent pls..”..I was wondering what this guy need ..y he is "olarifying"…
I asked ok what content he want..he said anything ..i thought "nut kalandhuruchi" of this guy..
Again I asked,” give the content in tamil I will translate it”..
He gave some wording ..”sutham swaha” I did;nt get anything in that wording…asked for the explanation for that tamil words.. after getting the meaningi informed him to tranlate same like the one he said in tamil ot hindi it is bit difficult so will type what ever I know and will send him..
In between was making fun of him..who is that gal? chat friend ??? do u want something touching touching matter..
Then I wrote the letter n gave to him also explained him the meaning ..here it goes..

Thinkk Ponderr & Actt ~~
With just a glance did u find any difference in above 2 photos ..?? hmm i think not much ...almost same.. bottles appearence also same.." ithu same ..athu same .. ellam same same"..pls note ..it is not shame shame ..he he
only bottle size vaires..may be content in that vary little..but believe me both the above picture are taken in differnt countries..
